Tide Spin partners with Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC) to provide free laundry and dry cleaning to families staying at the Streeterville house on East Grand Ave. RMCH provides support and housing to families while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital.
Tide Spin hosted an event at River Roast in February and all proceeds went to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.

Earlier this year, we had a customer from RMHC (we’ll call her Mary) place an order for Wash & Fold, but accidentally put dry cleaning in the bag as well. Our laundry experts are trained to identify these delicate garments and pull them out of the laundry during the sorting process. Once the dry clean only garments were pulled out, our customer support team reached out to Mary to see how she wanted to proceed with the garments.
Mary gave us the go-ahead to dry clean these items, however, at this point, the items would have to be rushed to the dry cleaner in order to make it back to her by the scheduled delivery date. Our customer support agent who was on the case recognized this and drove over to the laundromat herself, picked up the dry clean only clothes and delivered them to the dry cleaner.
After the order, Mary emailed support to tell us how happy she was:
"We are very easy going people and our clothes are not so expensive that we couldn't replace them if something irreversible were to happen. I want you to know what a blessing it is for me to be able to have our clothes cleaned by you. I don't have to have another expense (and the hardship of finding a cleaners and bringing the clothes to and from that location) while we are away from home and living in a big city. I also have health problems, so physical tasks are hard for me anyways. In addition to that, with my daughter being in the hospital I have not been feeling like my usually happy self. It helps so much that laundry and meals have been wiped off my list of to-dos!
